There are lots of ‘drive throughs’. It’s everywhere you look on the streets of Ghana, especially in the cities. You will find hawkers on the streets, in the traffic, trying to sell you everything you will ever need. That’s what we call a real ‘drive through’ 😂

Many things we can do without, like Franklin foods and other foods we eat, are causing many illnesses. I am in NYC, and many apartments do not have central air. When I sold tours to European Cities, Americans were shocked because of no AC. Can you all grow celery and other veggies where you are at? Nothing big, just a tiny little something. But I love watching you two and would like to travel to Ghana next year. Being totally cashless is dangerous, folks. Think about it, folks.😘 Let cash be king. We have lost a lot of Muli theaters in NYC due to finances, and tickets are costly. I thought you all said traffic is a problem. Do they need multi cars? Many New Yorkers live like yall, and I have AC and fans.

Great video, when you live in cultures where cars, guns, fast foods and 24/7 supermarkets are the norm your mind is programmed to think it’s the same elsewhere. As for the cars, they are very expensive and most can’t afford one, some cars cost more than what some Ghanaians would earn in their entire working lives, but that will change with economic development. Look at China now, cars were as rare as the hen’s tooth only few decades ago 😂😂

The problem with owning a car in Ghana is, there are no car financing options. If you want a car, you have to buy it cash, which is expensive and difficult. so definitely, unless you are rich, you can't get a car.

Spain, Italy and many other countries name them all, don't miss African music, dance, and culture. I am glad other countries dance, food and culture are not prominent in Ghana and across the continent. How about going to an event to learn African dance, enjoy music etc. Maybe diasporas and expats need to invest in social club with different events and activities. I am learning all types of African dance and Swahili on KZbin. It's fun. ❤❤❤

It’s interesting how it’s so similar yet dissimilar from Nigeria. Well, Abuja actually. I’m African American living here in Abuja, Nigeria. In Abuja, everyone pretty much uses POS, or cards. That’s likely because of the cash shortage that happened earlier this year. Now even the merchants at the open market have bank accounts to transfer to and POS for cards if you don’t have cash.

As a Ghanaian i wish we would never have "The unhealthy fast foods " here. Look at South Africa they're leading Africa with obesity and heart related sickness. Also multi screen movie theaters even in America and The west are fading out. There used to be a lot of movie theaters in Ghana back then but majority have been closed. Thats not true that in U S. Europe, Most houses have central Air. You found them in offices not even in condos. I just came back from Canada and there were no 24hrs supermarkets or any type. Even, before abiut 20years ago, in Canada and Europe not many stores open on Sundays. But all the same i enjoyed the video because of the things you mentioned were spot on

I agree with Tony about sports in the states. Of the conventional sports I only follow baseball, but this year they tore apart my Dodgers and I’m having a real hard time getting interested in the games. I’m compensating by watching more of the unconventional games like x-games, battle bots and even bull riding. Battle bots is particularly interesting.

They eventually will. For an economy to be efficient “manufacturing” has to happen. Ghanaians consume a lot of imports and causes the Ghanaian cedi to suffer, making interest rate around 30%….it’s makes it difficult to give out mortgages or business loans

The USA undoubtedly has its own problems but I feel that we should always way the positive against the negative... I know lots of Africans who are very proud of gaining US citizenship and appreciate what they have been able to achieve because of that. Your ancestors built the USA why can't you be proud and enjoy the benefits of your country whilst also recognizing your African heritage as the Jews, Mexicans and Indians also their counties of origin.
