One slight suggestion? For the trigger mechanism, If you tied two seperate pieces of that string. One to each original Magnus Trigger.fed it around the same way, using a piece of thin plastic around the screw post to keep them separate then tied them to the slingfire trigger, it would give you a more reliable pull. The reason right now why it sometimes only fires one side is due to the string shifts slightly, causing an uneven pull. For a return Mech, use a solder iron to melt a small hole near the top of the trigger. Using a small catch spring, bend it to loop through the hole, then attach to the screw post near the top of the trigger. Only two suggestions I could think of, overall an amazing idea!

I primer nerf guns from slightly further away than normally spray painting them. I also do it in pretty light coats. e.g. 50% coverage after the first layer. The distance and light coats allows the paint to go on a little bit more dry. The Rustoleum camouflage series of paints adheres to plain plastic the best out of any spray paint I have used. You are great at modifying blasters. These are phenomenal. You are by far my master in that regard. Just a little tip for painting.

What you say about dry times is right. I have totally messed up how some of my early blasters feel from touching the paint too soon. Within a week of finishing it, just touching it too early seems to get some skin grease and sweat in the paint (usually on the grip.) Then it forever feels a little bit sticky.

OK, this totally blew me out of the water, this is a damn nice blaster. I really liked that Mare's Leg Roughcut, but this is just amazing. I lot was sacrificed for it, but dude, totally worth it. I have a pair of Magnuses... I think that's right... And a second Slingfire. When I get a chance, i may have to try and build one myself. Paint tip, that you can take or leave, in my experience, the Rustoleum 2X works best over vinyl dye base coats. I normally don't clear coat my stuff so I can't say anything on that. But when I do any painting projects a base of vinyl dye, and then the 2X stuff, the adhesion to it is nice, and with light to medium trying, I can't scratch it off. Unlike that Fusion crap.

You know the integration of a Centurion magazine into a Magnus? Do that per barrel but with the thinner Buzz Bee 8-round mega equivilent clip-mag's. It'd give it a 16 round capacity & be freakin' beastly.

If I had $150-200 I'd offer to buy it. It's cool, unique, and looks fun to use. And as I also mod I get the paint issue (looks fine on my phones screen), and the trigger mech. Don't think I'd make one, not quite there yet with shell integrations. All in all, great job!

cool mod i like the way it looks to be honest, on the little metal bar that connects the triggers what if you had done the same but had a v shaped bar and the string was at the point of the v maybe use wire instead , also on when i have gave the blasters damaged looks i take out all the guts and then just slide it across floor drop it etc.... just dont throw it lol but thats a givin , then i just repaint and the dry brush the damaged areas looks really good .....i would like to see if a double dual-strike combined to use one trigger , maybe even a dual vagabond....huh yeah i know that one sounds like fun am i right .........
