The firestrike and recon laser work better than this trash lol. I have them. The firestrike is good but the recon laser is a bit dissapointing. Even then, better than this. They at least functionally work

The only thing I found odd was that you forgot the Swordfish is Picatinny. Majorly sucks that the sight isn't worth the money. I was excited for this when I saw the toy fair videos on it but I'm not gonna bother now. Thanks Walcom :)

It does look pretty. I would say shoot it with the 2020 Elite 2.0 Warden but that would be pretty hard to do considering two of them broke beyond repair with slam fire including one before you could put any darts in it lol

The chrono barrel is by far the best attachment nerf has ever made! I got mine when it first came out for $15 and honestly it's worth twice that but when you chrono half length darts it reads crazy high lol

The targets are lame, I agree, but you know why it's on the same shelf as the chrono-barrel? Because it's meant to be used with it. The LED light on the sight is actually meant to cast the shadow of the iron sight on the chrono-barrel onto the target, not to actually light up the target. Santa found them both cheap, so my kid tried them out together on the Evader or else we wouldn't have figured it out.

They're not great but I'd say under 20$ and it's worth a play around. I can walk around the garage with the lights off and it works pretty good, biggest issue is the low resolution screen.

Out of all things I like the Tri-Break, due to the barrel break, or drop barrel idea, which has been integrated into it. I'm glad I have it, but I only like it for that gimic and look forward to making it into a death dealing 3 shot machine. Which in theory will come in and help in small compact area Nerf wars. It will take a long time to gather materials for this overhaul and lots of time, but I look so forward to it. The only thing I look to buy with the evader is the dart reader thing-a-ma-jigger.

Not that I want to say this is the best purchase ever or something absurd like that but: The reflective material in hivis jackets and the like is directional, so you may have to look down the sight to be able to see the reflection. Or at least have your eye close to the axis of the light. I'm assuming that wont work, so try the recon light and a firestrike light as well. I assume they wont be much better, so after that get a $store laser pen and try that instead because THAT might be interesting. Realistically this should have been a free accessory included with the evader, not worth actual money to buy.

Agreed, out of the box, it's not worth the money. Modding potential tho (Arduino and sensors, baby!). To be fair, the Chronobarrel is stupidly underpriced and they totally could have milked us. Glad they didn't. Let's see some modding to make this marginally useful!
