Expensive for a supposedly stripped-down version of a higher-end product. Hoped for some more polyphony, too, given it's bi-timbral, I believe. Soon gonna eat up those 12 notes, even with just one voice let alone two.

Waldorf has always been a pain to set things up with tons of menu diving, it's like the Windows of music making. I wonder if all of those unlabeled buttons will be more user-friendly? I know you're a great entertaining piano player, Jack. But I'd like to see you struggle and bleed creating your own patch - or succeed, who knows? 😂

So its pretty much similar price as the original but the original has more controls etc...Might as well just get the original desktop. Waldorf naused the prices up again...Sigh!!

Waldorf! You’re ducking up. You’re ducking up bad. How many times are you going to release the same synth? Who’s making these horrible decisions over there? We’ve had Quantum, Iridium desktop, Iridium keyboard, Quantum MK2 (because the original was a failure in quality), now the Iridium Core? For the same price as the original Iridium desktop. None of this makes sense.

Its an overpriced menu diving lcd backlit VST in a box with shotty reliability. It's fantastic.

Its all digital on an outsourced DSP chip. Basically a computer. All the R&D is in the programming. Its basically a vst in a box. So instead of a laptop screen you get to stare at a menu diving LCD backlit monstrosity thats basically as powerful a 2012 computer and the privilege of forking out over 2K USD for this. GTFO Waldorf.
