For that suede, I would try a very fine grit sandpaper (anywhere between 180 to 220 grit will do), it’ll lighten up the suede and should take out most of the paint, just be careful with it. Maybe test it out on a small part first before you fully commit

I live in a rainy ass state too bruh I love/hate suede 😭 but these are def not suede so they will be better. What I would worry about is the crochet details cause that was more cottonish. Not the worst choice (for a like a light rain) but I’m sure there’s better :/
