Stand up comedians here are often good singers and dancers and even good actors, they also appear on tv, and musical theaters. These comedians may be serving laughs and gags but just for real, they can serve vocals too. Especially Ethel and K Brosas. I heard Ethel sang a Regine Velasquez song and she managed to do a good job. K Brosas is a rocker and she can belt good too when she's on her performer mode. Kidding aside, now that this segment happened, I wonder who comedian will dare to sing with Morissette's freaking hard original song, and have a sing off with a slight touch of comedy with her. I would love to see this happen with her too and with Klarisse as well.

The thing with comedians in the Philippines (especially this particular group) is that most of them start out doing stand-up comedy in comedy and karaoke bars where the typical comedy set is interspersed with music, possibly with a live band. So it's kind of a bonus if you are a comedian that can sing because you can switch between comedy bits and singing, depending on how the crowd is reacting that night.

Really love your reactions!! In Philippine showbiz, the competition is really tough especially with singing. These comedians actually started their careers as a singer from different singing contest on tv. But to be able to keep their showbiz career, they need to be flexible as there are only few opportunities to being given to them to perform on national tv (during the old days). And sometimes, just to have a gig and to earn money, they are performing in some local comedy bars here. But the good thing is that they are really talented comedians bringing laugher to the watchers.. 💕💗

Quick Tip: For words that starts with "NG" like Ngayon, the sound is like the same "NG" in English. Example: singing.. retain the "ng" sound just add the "ah" sound for "ngayon". It will sound like "ngah-yown" 😊
