"she looks so comfortable" that's actually one of the reasons taeyeon concerts feel so special, bc she's not like that anywhere else, not in music shows, not in variety shows, taeyeon is usually very shy.. but when it's just her, her fans, her band and the stage it's like a whole transformation! that's taeyeon in her natural element and it just elevates the performance even more! A quote from taeyeon herself: "“I think the moments where I laughed a lot, talked a lot, felt the most emotions and felt good things are when I’m holding concerts.”

I also think it's something to do with the back track on music shows, they're so loud we can barely hear her much there, which doesn't suit her style of songs. Taeyeon not only sings best in front of her fans, but also sings best when she's able to hear her own voice, think that's why she always fiddles with her earphones too on those shows.

2 years late on this but this is 1000% correct. She is very different at her concerts than anywhere else. If anybody ever has a chance to go, I really recommend it. It's a special and unique experience to go to a Taeyeon concert.

She really brings out the emotion of the song. And I'm going to mention this not because they used to be a couple but because I've always thought this... She and Baekhyun have that same quality, you can picture their expressions just from what part of the song they're singing - when you stay a fan long enough, you'll know what I mean. They have a very distinct way of singing certain emotions and it always pairs with specific facial expressions. More of her concert performances pleaseeeee. Her live concert performance of Four Seasons and Blue were AMAZING and she was so beautiful! I'm going to watch it again now haha

Taeyeon's live concerts are always gonna be super good. She has her concert venues held at a smaller size because she believes in being closer to the audience and letting them hear her better, this makes the concert feel more inclusive and intimate.
