Karlsson is also known as Bloodshy as part of two other musical groups, a duo and a trio. Eklöw is known as Style of Eye. HORLICS - 80's & 90's Chocolate malt drink = Horlicks is a sweet malted milk hot drink powder developed by founders James and William Horlick. It was first sold as "Horlick's Infant and Invalids Food", soon adding "aged and travellers" to their label.[1] In the early 20th century it was sold as a powdered meal replacement drink mix. I grew up with this drink and have the most fond memories. Hong Kong being a British colony - is heavily influenced by British culture and products. So Horlics - is achildhood memory for many people. about the aesthetic of the mv: The movies that he was refering to would usually be shoot in the late 80's (beginning of the 90's), that's why it does goes more to this period of time visually wise. Movies like Fallen Angels by the director Wong Kar-wai became really popular in Asia and some western countries as well because of this gorgeous and unique cinematography The Hong Kong classic-cinema it's just so beautiful, vibrant and overall inspirational, that seeing this aesthetic being used in a mv with such a upbeat song actually makes me really happy

He probably referred to the style of movies directed by Wong Ka Wei, a Hong Kong Movie Producer. If you are interested, check out the movies of Days of Being Wild (1990) and As Tears Go By (1988), Chungking Express (1994). I recalled some of the scenes there were quite similar to the style of the restaurant scene in this MV. The way he spoke in Cantonese also so much like Leslie Chung the famous main actor in Days of Being Wild.
