The reason why you see so many cooking scenes in in the soop is because they mostly eat take away food because of their busy schedules so they've said that whenever they get a break like this they love to cook in them and eat home cooked food

Slurping is really just part of East Asian culture. And just to add, they’re not slurping particularly loudly. It’s just that they have mic packs on them so the production team catches what they say without the ambient noises. That’s why the sound is amplified x100.

In East Asian culture the louder you slurp, the better. It shows appreciation for the food. The more “quiet” you eat is like an insult to the one who prepared your meal. If slurping is bad table manners in the West, not slurping is bad table manners in the East. Same with sipping straight from the bowl. It’s perfectly normal for us just shows how much we love and appreciate the food.

yoongi is 2nd oldest btw!! it's jin, yoongi, hobi, namjoon, jimin, taehyung, jungkook. hobi and namjoon are the same age (chingus) but hobi is older and jimin and taehyung are the same age but jimin is older. people tend to think namjoon is the oldest bc he's the leader but when you watch their videos you can see how much the hyung line (even the maknae line) baby him it's literally the cutest thing ever. yoongi had to teach namjoon how to tie his shoelaces 😭🥺 they've been together for so long and the way they grew up together is so wholesome

here's some things you probably didn't know: - i was surprised you didn't know yoongi played basketball! his stage name suga is from the first 2 syllables of "shooting guard" the position he played before. and "agust d" is daegu town suga backwards because he's from daegu - namjoon is the maknae of the hyung line though him and hobi are the same age. jin is oldest, and yoongi is second oldest. - the guy jin called is chef baek! he's a very famous chef and he's been on RUN BTS twice. - in the soop was made to give them time to relax but also for them to try things they've never done before so they did things they wanted to do since they were kids and also that they just want to try. they're not afraid to show themselves doing nothing if that's what they find relaxing and they were very open about how they spend their days off when they're not on camera. e.g. some members feel very restless when they're doing nothing/not working and other members can completely switch off and use it as time to do what they want. they had a really wholesome convo about how they needed each other to balance themselves out and how they get energy from each other

The dog , Bam is a Doberman ...... Doberman's ears are usually cropped through a surgical procedure for that signature pointy look , but Jungkook decided not to do it ..... hence the ears are like normal and not the one's we are used to see on Dobermans.

This is how I see it: Yoongi is husband/dad material ( hands down no question about it ) Jin is uncle vibes ( that uncle that is fun and funny but is responsible when needed) RM and Hobi are the big brothers ( they have to put up with the oldest child responsibilities. Jin and Yoongi have called themselves the parents of BTS before. They used to say Suga would fix anything broken in their dorm while Jin was always cooking for them. He also used to drive Jung kook to school and cook for him and I believe Jimin as well before they graduated and this would have been while he himself was also going to school. Fans like to say Jin's the mom but he dislikes being called that so I'll say Yoonjin are BTS dad's even tho some fans will say it's RM and Jin but since Yoongi and Jin said it themselves then I choose to believe them and we can see it from countless videos.

Jk joined BTS at the age of 13 and trained until he debuted at the age of 15. BTS attended Jk's middle and high school graduations. There is a 5yr difference in age. Jin, the oldest, born 1992 and Jk, the youngest, born in 1997. They used the paintball guns for target practice because they said it hurt too much to be shot by them. Jk's dog is a Doberman. In South Korea they do not clip the tail or ears like in other places. So Bam is still a beautiful puppy.🤗💜 They only remained at the "In the Soop" compound for 4 full days.
