8:33 Honestly facts. People stay sleeping on NCT, they are just really so freakin' talented and hilarious. I honestly think that their concept of limitless members hurts them cause I feel like most people get intimidated and feel like they can't really dive into NCT. Like they are so freaking hard working and pump out content for the fans so regularly. After you get into more NCT songs could you eventually do the subpar guides. They also did the friendship test like super M you could react to that if you have time

ikr .. i feel like if they are a fixed number members like other groups, they will get even MORE popular MORE quickly. its hard to have that will to know 21 members lol .. lots of people give up first before they really dive deeper and become a loyal fans to nct because they think nct concept and big numbers of members are too tiring .. meanwhile, for groups like this, usually intense loyal fans are the ones that will stream, buy albums, and all that .. however, i feel like people usually just casual listener or like nct's music in general because their concept is too confusing/intense for those casual listeners to become their fans

Actually, even with all of the versions added together, the total views are less than 100M.😭 A lot of people sleep on NCT which is a shame. Some people find it difficult to get into them because of their concept of limitless members. They're scared they'll have to remember so many names and faces. People get intimidated. However, it actually only took me 2 days to be able to recognize them because they all have such distinct personalities. They're all so funny and so talented. Their songs are also consistently bops. Some people say their songs are not really for the general public and I guess why people say that but I was drawn in from the first MV I watched. Maybe that's just my taste, idk. I mean, even their B-sides are title track quality. And yeah, like you said, their concepts and music are a lot more modern. Futuristic even. Like The 7th Sense. When it first came out, it was so ahead of its time. It's a huge shame, really. I really wish people could wake up and stop sleeping on NCT.

Now that you have heard the English version of "Regular," you should check out the Korean version and the Mandarin Chinese version. If you watch the MVs for the Korean and Mandarin versions make sure to look up the lyrics for both of those songs, because even though it's the same beat and the same title, the lyrics are different for all 3 songs. If you look up the lyrics for the Korean version you will discover that the lyrics for the English version of "Regular is almost opposite of what they are talking about in the Korean version. That's why the album is called "Regular Irregular." The English version is what I would describe as the cocky version of the song and it hits on the aesthetic of what appeals more to an American audience. The English version talks about being famous and having lots of money and still not being satisfied until they possess all the riches and fame. However, the Korean version is what I would call the humble version of the song. The Korean lyrics talk about how they are constantly working hard and are never satisfied with the end result and how they hope to have the success that they always dream of, etc. -- which is what appeals more to a Korean audience. And the Chinese version is more about technology based success. The Chinese version is sung by NCT's Chinese sub-unit called WayV. You should really take the time to see what makes the 3 versions so different, besides the fact that they are in 3 different languages. It's really interesting to see how 3 songs can be created in 3 different languages using the same beat and feel, and yet have completely different messages. It just goes to show how diverse the music industry is and yet still so similar. :D The English version of "Regular" was part of NCT-127's U.S. debut release and it was SM's attempt at establishing a foothold in the U.S. music market. 127 is the sub-unit that SM is using to try and make waves in the U.S. market, which is why they had a big North American concert tour and did a lot of promotions with the U.S. media, etc. last year. They followed this up with English songs such as "Highway To Heaven," and their collaboration with Jason Derulo and EXO's Lay with the song "Shut Up And Dance," etc.

I personally don't like lyrics for eng ver in nct's song. they so explicit and suggesting in comparison with Chinese and Korean lyrics. eng about how they have all this money and this is not enough, but kor how they putting so much effort to become successful. similar story with their song 'highway to heaven'

I like the Korean lyrics better but the English version is awesome! Easier for me to sing and it just feels good. Just because the lyrics are that way, does not mean NCT feels the same so it shouldn't really matter.
