Walibi Holland Vlog July 2019

Join us as we head to Walibi Holland to experience Untamed, a new roller coaster that opened at the park during summer 2019. In this vlog we share on ride footage from this spectacular new coaster built by Rocky Mountain Construction along with sharing our full review. This vlog also features on ride POV's from Goliath, Lost Gravity, Xpress Platform 13 and the other major roller coasters on offer at the park.
Along with that we also share some exclusive angles of Untamed, Goliath and Xpress Platform 13 from some of the behind the scenes areas at Walibi Holland. Plus Shawn gets soaked on a Huss Top Spin and much more in this action packed vlog as part of our road trip through The Netherlands and Belgium!

Untamed is also amazing in the dark, i rode it last wednesday during LEKKERGAAN. The lighting in the station AND around the track itself gives it a really cool atmosphere.

Happy Anniversary to you two!! I'm going to take a phrase from your videos and say that this is now a 'Bucket List Park' for me. This park is beautiful and the theming and the 'small things' like that interactive fountain makes this park stand out. I love the lighting effects and the music when Untamed is dispatched. It reminds me of Batman the Ride at Six Flags Over Georgia back in its early years. That themed Vekoma Boomerang is something that I HAVE to experience for myself!!!

Untamed is truly an amazing coaster, I was lucky enough to get here on its opening day and vlog it. It was my first RMC and is my Number 1 coaster. Great to see you had an awesome time :D

I was confused at first when I saw the Goliath logo because it was the same as the Six Flags Goliath logo and the Intamin model was very similar to Superman at Six Flags New England. After you said the park used to be owned by Six Flags it all made sense.

Walibi Holland is beautiful, apart from the heat it seems to be a must for our trip. Forgive my off topic question, You've ridden X2 and Eejanaika @ Fuji-Q Highland. I've ridden X2 and Dinoconda @ China Dinosaurs Park. When do you see yourself visiting that park? Dinoconda is the clear winner of those 2. 10 of 10 X2, 12 of 10 Dinoconda, my opinion.

When you go to germany to get on Dynamite in Freizeitpark Plohn you can defenetly also go to Belantis which is another bigger park in east Germany, its about 90 minutes away and if you like you could then make your way down to Bavaria and do some parks there like Freizeitland Geiselwind, Bayern park or Skyline Park

I think that with ejector airtime there's always going to be a degree of discomfort but the RMC restraints definitely could be a lot more comfortable. That should be the next project.

I went to this park with my GF at the time Nadia, and we had a great time travelling to and at this park. Back then it was all about Goliath and called Six Flags Holland (The Goliath logo is the same as SFMM). It was gonna have a battle to do as we had been to Holiday Park a month or so before. In the end I prefered Goliath - I always prefer a Straight drop into a straight airtime hill. It makes me think that if there was never a guy called Martyn I probably would have carried on with that lifestyle had I been able to stay with Nadia. Unfortunately the next GF didn't like coasters at all and I became a laboratory analyst instead. I look back now and yeah, there's a reason I love this channel!! I think what is making me think is just how Shawn you are able to do parks alone with so much enthusiasm. I'd never even considered that, but maybe it's my way back in to a hobby i once loved.

I have to say, the RMC is really cool and so much different than any other of their other coasters...which is what makes them so awesome!! Also have to say i really liked that Vekoma boomerang with the light package... one of the best of those I have seen. The Xpress coaster is VERY quite brilliant...cool queue, great themeing and another surprisingly good Vekoma! Cant wait for your trip to Florida together... its going to be so much fun. SO VERY Glad u LOVED Silver Dollar CIty as much as you did.... as i had told you before you left... you would love it.... I have loved that park fora long time now and very much till this day...theres no other like it! Maybe you already know it but it's worth a try. Last year I went to Walibi Holland and when the park opens you have to wait in the main building for "real opening". But the X-Press Platform 13 is already open at that time. We were able to ride 2 times in a row because nobody knew that! PS: Congratulations on the anniversary!

It would-be really Nice to see you guys go to this park back again during Halloween, it’s called Walibi fright nights. It’s in the weekends of 5 till 27 october. I went last Year and it was amazing. I think it was around 6 ‘o’Clock that the haunted houses open, and the creepy characters start walking through the park. I dont know if You knew this already, if not You should really Google it. Fun fact about the tap water. There is spring water sold here with the brand Bar le Duc. This comes from a natural spring somewhere in Utrecht. Funny thing is, the tap water is EXACTLY THE SAME THING. Tapwater in the Netherlands is top rated stuff!

Surely the RMC restraints have to be tight as it’s only a lap bar and you’ve got multiple inversions?

They are pretty tight, they also lock your legs i place so they dont move around

Most of the times, she sits a little sideways (so her knee isn't in a 90 degree position). Do you think this coaster will be a problem for her? I can see on the vlog that there is enough leg space, so if she can sit normally (like on a chair), there probably won't be a problem

Had my first ride on Untamed today! What a wild coaster. I remember the Cedar Point vlog where Alex, as a big guy complained about the restraints, and i feel the same. With my 1.99m I felt very restrained and had no airtime at all. It wasn't uncomfortable, but kinda disappointing. Untamed is the first RMC I've done, but going to Cedar Point in august I just really hope Steel Vengeance will be better for my legs...
