the sun actually sets at different times for the different seasons, so making it a flat 8 pm wake up isn't as good as it could be. spring and fall it is 8 pm, but summer it's nine and winter it's 6! those 2 extra hours of winter night could really be useful. someone else also suggested making rainy days a full day so that you could make a reasonable 200 days and upgrade tools maybe. (step one, build a cabin and steal the tools so you won't go without if there's a long pause between rainy days!) this was cool, I might try a challenge similar to this for myself

I collect torches from the dark floors for lighting around the farm, stick them behind the scarecrow and on top of fences. 10:10 Yep, Pierre resells your potatoes when he buys them and if they're high quality he takes credit for growing them too. 😒 My dude, use your axe or pickaxe on the swirly weeds to get mixed weeds while not accidentally destroying other weeds to allow them to potentially turn into the swirly seed weeds. 25:25 Finally remembered the torches, eh? honestly I think you should be able to get 1 day when you wake up for example at 1pm or something, so it's still more like a night owl, but you get a chance to buy rods, build buildings, unlock community center, etc. to not make it super easy on yourself and make it the 1st of every season, I think that it could be the 28th day of every season

If you want more time during the night, try this again with the night owl mod installed, you can stay up until 6am but you still pass out to save and move to the next day.

on day 4 right now so I dunno what happens yet, but I'm pretty sure you can get seeds at the night market... probably will edit this later :P (Edit - just remembered that the night market is technically a place you can gift right? Cause it's not technically like the other events) Edit - day 11. there's a quest(?) on the community board from Clint that gives you a geode crusher, definitely not positive it's possible to get it built at the time Guggy is playing at 15:40 best place to put an axe pun there. (Edit 1pt2 - day 58. yay I was right you can do the quests) Edit 2 - day 16. could probably give the axe to her at the saloon? I have no idea what her schedule is but there is also an option to do it on Tuesdays when she goes to the yoga club. Don't take my bad advice, it's probably wrong anyways :| (Edit 2pt2 - I regret saying it's a bad idea to go to the saloon, now I just sound like a donkey. Oopsies...) Edit 3 - day 50. not sure but I think the adventurer's guild stays up until atleast 12? You could get some things there too Edit 4 - yes yes yes please make a 200 days video if you can

Looking into it, no, there is not a greater chance to get mixed seeds on the farm. If you have haymaker, there is a 50% chance for that to give you a piece of fibre, and then a 33% chance for it to give you a piece of hay. Then, it determines what drop to give by first giving a 50% chance for fibre, then a 5% chance for mixed seeds, then checking what weed type to potentially override it, where one weed type (found on the 4 corners and forest farm) gives mixed seeds all the time, and others (from the island and dangerous mine) can give a mummified bat or taro tuber
