The bonuses in the original Earn to Die flash game are a one-time-only thing, which is why they might seem "inconsistent". Pretty much, if you get a "Great Strike x2" once, you cannot get it again in that playthrough. At all.

For context, Episode 3 is supposed to be Earn To Die 2, the PC version has like 30% of the vehicles and 10% of the levels. Full version is on mobile only and includes additional modes.

Earn to die Rogue felt like such a shitty ripoff and very greedy mobile game. Roguelike too because or course. Literally couldnt get my first car and actually, yknow, DRIVE in an Earn to Die game besides the tutorial car that gets wrecked. Earn to die 2 was the peak.

For earn to die 2012, the progression seems slower at first because you gain less money, but everything is also cheaper, I found it to be faster than the first game, rather than slower or equal in terms of progression speed.

Man I loved the custom art and names for the upgrades. While the mobile games have way more cars and maps and content. All the upgrades are bars including the engines and gearboxes and the flash games were a bit more respectful of your time. That’s not to say the mobile game is bad. It’s amazing compared to the regular slop

You can play 2nd game on mobile, and it's 1st game on mobile. It's cost money but it's worth, it's the same with everything you mentioned game but with more cars and halloween challenges.

Also you can see in 3rd game that it's same as you said, only bars no arts. Which means it's not mobile games issue, but developers themself decided to do that. Which means mobile games only better since they got everything and more content. 3rd games is 2nd game on mobile and it has 1 map for every car and there like 10 cars or more. Also challenges and it's free game.

I love these games, the mobile versions were so awesome. They had so many more vehicles, and were polished up a bit better, you could honestly say they were remasters. Unfortunately... They were paid. But? That did not stop me from playing them. I found APKs... One of the many perks of owning an Android over an Apple device.

so uh idk if you noticed but when you’re using boost while still having some gas, it uses both the gas and boost, it’s always best to first use all your gas and then the boost to travel the most distance
