Hello dear how are you Nice watching your video for property buying in Pakistan to exchange your USD give a check to exchange company in Pakistan where they can offer you open market rate and from this amount you can buy property otherwise if you buy property they will ask you from where you have the funds so then there is no declaration and it is a big issue Hope you understand many thanks ❤😂

@@nomy207 to Malaysia. Rest of the process was as described by Wali Khan. Was quite smooth. Even in some cases if a fee is charged, it will be very minimum. It's not like sending to RDA, because some fees are charged there.

@@kachrachi thanks dear... Yeah becuase while sending usd direct to RDA they deduct too much and cant know from sending or recieving bank that for what that deduction is? Thays why opened both accounts in RDA and can get PKR-USD/USD-PKR on interbank rate.

UBL takes about 2 days only to repatriate funds in RDA

If you had both FCY and PKR accounts in RDA in same bank You could have simply converted PKR to USD on bank rate between your RDA accounts. To neutralize the effect of PKR depreciation in future. But yes, if you were worried about your money getting stuck in Pakistan incase of default then yes repatriation was the only option. Otherwise converting into RDA FCY usd account would have solved the problem.

Mine operation was smooth too though Banks on both sides deducted almost 70€... it was poor because its a hefty amount.

in my case - there was nothing deducted. I believe even if it was high, there would be no banking transaction charge. As you are based into EU, it might have been because of local banks there.

I have been charged with the FEE of AED 105 for CORR Charge and AED 21 for SWIFT/ Telex TRF Charges and 36.87 MBTRF. Is this what I need to pay for every transfer to $ RDA account? I am using SWIFT code even then this is cost I am incurring. Any way to slash this cost?

One question here, we can convert PKR to our dollar RDA account in same bank like HBL. What do you think about that option. The only worry is the current economical situation where the govt can easily freeze dollar account in case of $ scarcity

I am still having a major chunk in USD and not thinking of repatriating as of now. Till my last information, you can do that - but try before going for a bigger amount. You will get the bank rate while doing pkr to usd in same bank of RDA.

Although there's a chance of such a situation. But i think it's unlikely. Govt will not want to disappoint RDA users because if they mess with rda users they will straight away loose 2 to 2.5 billion dollars per month remittances. So no govt would want that. But yes there could be a thin chance of freezing anyways. But even if it gets frozen its not lost. In history in 1998 accounts got frozen for like 3 months. From May to July . So it won't get lost. Worst case scenario will be they will ask you to withdraw in PKR on bank rate. And customer would be not willing to do so. And so customer will keep the usd as it is (frozen) untill the accounts get active again.. which can maybe take 3 months or 6 months or 1-2 years even. So in that case customer will be just waiting and that's all. But this scenario is the worst case. (If ever)

This will in short term result in depreciation… which I want to avoid - plus, everyone has their own goals and journey, so everyone to take their own step and take responsibility.

Wali bhai, you haven't mentioned about the procedure and timeliness consumed for the redemption of naya pakistan certificate. Will they deduct or share some amount if redemmed before 3 months but after 1 month of subscription

Actually this process depends in different banks - so my experience might be different than anyone else in other bank. Just to give you an example, Meezan bank has the process automated while HBL still rely on investing and divesting for NPCs. For for NPC investments and redemption I have to send email to the RM with a signed form while someone in Meezan bank does this online. Having said that the redemption takes 2-3 days at max after sending the email. Once it's redeemed - the process is explained in the video. I waited for 3 months so that there is no major issue in the expected profit rates - which was OK as I received the profit for 3 months instead of 12 months.

my experiance of redeeming npc from meezan bank: there is online option of redemption in internet banking> applied through it> after 3/4 days amount was redeemed back in account and there was a debit transaction also... i contacted my RM for that debit transaction... he told me that is of profit difference. (as my npc was for 5yrs and i encahsed it just after 6 months means got one profit only and that profit was as per 5yrs rate, so that profit should be per 3 months rate if encashed before matirity.)

I think if someone is a long term investor then he shouldn't worry about it. You can double your money every five year at the current profit rate (13.5%). I don't recommend sending to Pakistan now - this is for the money that has already been invested.
