good memories i saw katula street, i used to have a friend of mine he lived at kaluta street flats but he passsed away years ago so sad, margot was a night club very famous in dar back then, i left dar in 2000 january to USA then visited back dar in 2020 for the first time after 20 years, i love this place

i lived at fire flats (morogoro road) and i used passed these areas everyday to school at Bunge Primary School, so i know these areas so well, odeon cinema, empress, empire, avalon, cameo, starlight all these are movies theatre, enjoyed alot movies back then, thank you very much for good memories...

Hi Altaf Dhiraj was my classmate in Mzizima unfortunately, I didn't get to see him last year. I appreciate you capturing Essaje building in your videos. I used to reside on the second floor of that building. We' were the only Goans living there. Dar holds some great memories for me. I really miss that place. It's such beautiful location. Dar reminds me of the good old days.

Omg!! Talking about Margots Nite club. Must mention back in 1970 we had some great Rockers. Music icons like George, Eustace, Johnny, Phil, Peter, Navroze, Robert, Newton, Salim, Paku, Adil , and many many more. Respects to all of them. We burnt down the house. And some of us even composed a tune called " The night we drove Margo's down".

I used to buy my stationaries from Pran Pen corner, Dar es salaam printers and then there was another stationary shop very near to Snow-cream that’s close to the old st Joseph’s school
