Hello, welcome to another video by Ettevaatust Productions.
In today's video we will first take a stroll along the Arvanitia walking path near Nafplio, Greece next to the Argolic Gulf.
We will then be joined by our good friend Random Jones as we explore the Mycenaean archaeological site of Tiryns.
Inhabited since the Neolithic Age, Tiryns was described by Homer in the Iliad. An earthquake and fire destroyed Tiryns in the 12c BCE and the Romans described the site as a deserted ruin. Visible today are the 13thc BCE Cyclopean walls and fortifications. We found many pottery fragments lying about, but only took photos.
So join us on another Greek adventure! Enjoy!!
