You don't have AUX Jack input in the passenger glove compartment? I bought a cheap bluetooth to Jack adapter, 12V to 5V USB DC converter with fuse that I put under the glove compartment with cigarette lighter socket and connected it to lighter socket using some wire clamps without cutting anything by sliding them to the sockets and securing with hot glue. You just have to make sure it is safely connected as this method is not perfect. USB wire is going hidden to the passenger glove compartment (where I have whole USB HUB for charging) and I set Command to AUX mode. 15 minutes job and it is so much better than FM transmitter. You can also use two large powerbanks and just swap them from time to time as these adapters wouldn't drain them for weeks. This was the first thing I did before using DC converter. BTW. Your car is cool. These cars have timeless beauty.

Nice car. My 2006 has an AUX 3.5mm jack in the glovebox. Yours should too? If so, get rid of the FM transmitter and get a bluetooth connector device. Much cleaner audio and wireless.

It was removed and hardwired to a Sirius xm unit by the previous owner, when I want to go behind there I’ll probably just end up doing a CarPlay unit but this is fine for now
