I've run SWT's for many years and yeah, you can get stuck. I always carry a come along, shovel, rope, chain saw, hand saw and an old, lightweight bumper jack with a square of 3/4" plywood
@AWEdventures2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I have been stuck a couple times but never so bad that some shoveling couldn't get me out. Debating on if I want to bite the bulled and put on a winch. I also carry a come along but after riding with guys that use winches I see how slick they are, but spendy..

I have the same sled but just wide, not super wide. I track my mileage pretty closely and get between 11 and 17mpg.

Yes, once I really started tracking it after break-in I average 10-15 mpg driving in standard mode. Not exactly what I had hoped for.

How exactly do you break these in? Did you talk to your dealership or skidoo about this or did you break it in with your experience with snowmachines?
@AWEdventures3 жыл бұрын
The manual gave a couple guidelines; no wide open throttle, no sudden stops and no prolonged time driving at the same rpm. You want to get good even ring wear in across all rpms.
@mianaqfriday7483 жыл бұрын
@@AWEdventures what do you mean no wide open throttle? Do you mean no speeding? No prolonged time driving at the same rpm? And that meaning dont be breaking it in at the same speed? Another question... what mode did you break it in? Sport, standard or eco?

@@NomadicNorthwoods Haha false.. the $500 bounty per wolf sponsored by the local tribe and the struggling moose population are perfect reasons to shoot wolves
@NomadicNorthwoods Жыл бұрын
@@AWEdventures nature doesn't need you to balance it, bounties are trash and you will answer for it when judgement day comes. Moose are plentiful on planet earth, wolves not so much. Your attitude mirrors those responsible for many cases of extirpation. How sadly common and ironic for someone who clearly likes the outdoors. Do you eat dog? Are you Korean? Only kill what you eat and completely harvest.
