Walk from Exeter Ship Canal to Starcross part 1

I enjoyed that Neil. I didn't know there was a footpath there. I used to do the train journey to Exeter on occasions, and been on the Powderham road many times, but never explored the canal at all. I will have to put that on my bucket list if Covid and other circumstances allow me to visit shortly. Well done with all your walks, live cams and swan-life videos.

So early! You are determined. I used to hate seeing Powderham Castle going past the car window, because it meant we were heading home and Dawlish and Starcross were behind us. Going home was so dispiriting.

I'm the same! I was always excited to see Kenton, Powderham, Starcross and Cockwood on the way down to the Warren and devastated to see them on my way back up. 😪 Just out of interest do you remember the tiny footbridge bridge that spans the road outside Kenton? I used to look out for it on our way down as I knew we were nearly there.

Watch you walk last night , hope you keep going with them. I haven’t been to Dawlish only on train on way to totnes . Have stay in Paignton love south Devon keep up good work Neil x
