This is classic, freon on tap (absolutely horrible) and butchered Walk in cooler systems with a new customer. They say they want things back in proper order so we will try. Leaks here are going to be repaired but best to install a new evaporator... the customer makes the call. More than just leaks here so, here we go.

Good job, I never would have thought of setting my gauges on a constant evaporator temp and leaving the bottle hooked up . That was nothing but a lazy decision.

I've seen this several times throughout the years, an owner who won't spend money and untrained facility guys who are doing the best they can. Not good for the environment and not good for the pocketbook.. fortunately the new owner is taking a better approach.

Just sweat in a ball valve on the water line and leave it on auto fil lol.:)

That would work for the water condenser if we pay the guy to sit there and watch the gallon per minute gauge..lol.. luckily most of these old buildings are getting bought by people who are fixing them, or they are meeting their day with a bulldozer
