WHOA… fabulous tour - enjoyed very much … slugs, I read that egg shells, diatomaceous earth and coffee grounds can help deter the slugs … we have had an unusually DRY summer here on the east coast, New Jersey, USA and a drip irrigation on a small scale is in order for my vegetable garden…next year I will incorporate flowers - like your garden …. THANK YOU … you are a positive inspiration and appreciated.

The orange flowers are crocosmia. We have experienced very similar weather in the UK, it has been the year of the slug!

Thank you so much for the name.. that helps me a lot.. there are a lot of bulbs planted by our owner, i am still learning their names. Yeaa weather has been crazy. Now getting used to it and accepting the fact that I have to garden with the slugs. :)

Your garden is looking so pretty. Slugs have decimated my plants as well this year ☹Do you fertilize all your pot plants and if so, how often? Due to all the slugs I've put more things in pots this year to get them off the ground, not sure it has helped though!

I fertilize them every two weeks. It also depends on the type of fertilizer you use..
