I had the pleasure of hearing and participating in a service today that this Man of God Mel Tari was preaching at and God showed up in many beautiful ways. When I spoke with him he was just an everyday type of person that you can feel comfortable with. Very humble and full of the love of Jesus Christ 😇 Amen Thank you brother Mel Tari you are doing the good work for God. Be blessed in Jesus Name Amen 🙏✝️🙌👑 from brother Kent 😇

Miricles are happening in the rural world, we are spoiled in the civilized world and have become sceptic christians. These guys in the rural areas experience the power of God in a way we can only imagen. Its like in the time of Paul. Amazing how God works!

I love how he focuses more on highlighting the mission and not the miracle. Jesus is the most important thing, when you have your eyes put on him, you don't even realize the miracles that happen around you.

I read of the account of this miracle in the book by Mel Tari entitled "Like a Mighty Wind" back in the 70s. His description (this is my first time seeing the man speak) appears to me consistent with the story and the attitude to have when such things occur: For example, the servants at the wedding feast pouring out the water that had been turned to wine and those sharing the food that was being multiplied, would not necessarily realise a miracle was happening at that point.

The only time I've heard of human intelligence being lost weren't mutations, more developmental abnormalities. "Developmental abnormalities not due to genetic change, are frequently referred to as mutants by non-experts. The difference between a developmental abnormality and a mutation is that the former is non-hereditable since the DNA is unchanged." (from wikipedia)

@Faithfull7 Sorry my friend, that is incorrect. Even at the "Time of Jesus" people were still worshiping many gods until Constantine forced Christianity upon the people at penalty of death. Many hieroglyphics tell the story of Horus which happened long before Jesus. Speaking of forged history, the Council of Carthage were the ones that decided what would be in the original bible and what wouldn't go in because of contradictions. A little research is in order.

Hi YHWHHisElohim, I recommend the sequel too: "The gentle breeze of Jesus". I also read that some time ago and, if I remember properly it contained a story of a witnessed to tribe that had been previoulsy disconnected from the 'outside world'. The Lord had already revealed himself to them through prophetic signs. The evangelists just informed them further about Jesus. Jesus said (lit. Gk.) "Have God's faith!" Miracles are not hard when simple faith is in play.

My point: The testes mutate, one cannot breed. The Ovaries mutate, one cannot breed. Each creature have different organs for making sperm and/or ovaries. Over millions of years time these organs could not have changed, if we were all related we'd all have sex the same way and be able to make babies the same way.

@agnostaxian The virgin birth, raising from the dead, etc were stories that were floating around the Mediteranian a thousand years before Jesus. Forget Zeitgeist, do the research yourself. The big question is do you believe the guy in the video actually defied the laws of physics and walked on water? If you were taught Grimm's fairy tale's as a child instead of Bible stories would you know the difference? If you were born in historical Greece, you'd have worshiped Zeus with the same passion.

Wow so in your mind, "allegedly" accused of something makes you a false prophet? The fact that an LA court made him pay is evidence? So you also are saying that the courts in LA are infallible? You are a very curious person...Tell you what, you believe in that stuff and we will believe in the Lord, Now go your way and bow to the LA court system seeing how they are perfect.

@agnostaxian Tom Harpur, an Anglican Priest, journalist, and theologian has found over one hundred similarities. You should have done your thesis on Egyptian gods then you would see the obvious similarities. You didn't, so you wouldn't know. Before you start spewing your good Christian politeness again, remember. If you had been born in a different time and place, you would be worshipping a different god so it's completely arbitrary isn't it?

@agnostaxian First of all, demanding answers to questions doesn't seem to sit well with your Christian peacefull existance does it. I'll play along just to satisfy your Christian ego. The central message is basically the same as Santa. Be a good boy, do what I say and you'll get presents. If you're bad, you won't get any from me. This is simplified but the meaning is exactly the same. Now this is the part where you start to spew words like "Love and understanding" etc.

You're talking about an abrupt change. The change isn't so abrupt. Each mutated offspring is only a little different from the parent. Eventually, over the course of millions of years and millions of offspring, the species has changed from what it once was. Then, if you were to reintroduce it to the species it came from, no, it couldn't reproduce with them. But, it could reproduce with its parents..and they with theirs...on back to the original species.

@agnostaxian It's amusing how you spout off three letters in a very childlike manner and claim it gives you some expanded knowledge on this subject. You seem to be hung up on the word "any", so I'll change it to most scholars...The parrallel's between the two and including many gods before that, do show amazing similarities which makes one question the authenticity.
@tannhaus
@tannhaus 17 жыл бұрын
Well, I could send you many many pictures of genetic mutations. It's not too hard to understand that with all the genetic mutations going on, some would be beneficial and would cause those who have them to prosper just a little more than those that don't have them. That's evolution, dude.

@agnostaxian I find it fascinating that you did a theisis on Jesus when all claims of Jesus derive from hearsay accounts. There is no physical evidence to support a historical Jesus; no artifacts, dwelling, works of carpentry or self written manuscripts. There is no Roman record of Pilate executing a man named Jesus. There is not a single writing that even mentions Jesus. No court of law today would allow hearsay evidence so it's incredible you wrote a theisis based on hearsay.

It is truly this kind of stubborn clinging to supernatural mythologies and taking them as an indication of a divine origin that holds mankind back from achieving its potential. It's a kind of laziness to pass the buck of reality over to the supernatural to absolve oneself of having to admit their frailties and limitations, and when you do that, you stop trying, progress stops, thinking stops. Did these people walk on water? No, of course not. Either they found a sandbar that those on the far side did not, the water was simply not that deep, or it is a well-meaning fabrication, which is what I suspect. Those who are so sure of themselves but cannot find enough solid proof to be convincing will often resort to fables to make a point, or conveniently mis- or re-interpret events to support their own beliefs. It is a physical universe we live in, you have but to look around, employ your own thinking, exam your world, to know it... until more are willing to do just that, we are hobbled.

It takes faith to be an atheist, or else one would have to believe that a room locked with paper, ink, the alphabets simply evolved into an encyclopedia in a million year, it is the same faith ,But in God that pleases him so that you come in union with the supernatural experiences, the free will stands for ever for a Man to choose ! . @@martinnicholas176 That's just double talk, like saying 'even the decision not to decide is a decision' or 'even choosing not to vote is a vote'... Of course, everything humans do can fall under general labels, the question is, is it salient to the issue in any active way? To say it takes faith to be an atheist is just a semantic attempt to bring someone down to your level, but it ignores the kind of faith that's implied. There's a difference between having faith in precedence - like flicking a light switch or how someone you know will respond to your needs - and claiming faith in the unknowable and unprovable simply in the hope of some kind of reward in an equally unknowable and unprovable afterlife. If you try to use someone's words, just the words, against them without addressing the underlying meaning or ideological intention, then you've said nothing, and accomplished nothing.
