Desiree Davila I'm talking about the book. Multiple times Christian forces Anastasia to do things she isn't comfortable with. In some instances he forces himself on her even when she uses their safeword. Here are only a few things this book includes: Ignoring consent, Stalking (he put a tracker in her phone), Taking sexual advantage of someone who is intoxicated. Not treating safewords and contracts as important. Threatening violent retaliation (like tying her up for thinking about running away), I could go on and on with this list. Bottom line, sex without consent is rape, and this story has that.

News flash: There will always be good music. There will always be bad music. There will always be music with heart and soul in it. There will always be music made with not very much effort put into it. There will always be music you like. There will always be music you don't like (this is often mistaken for bad music). There will always be good change. There will always be bad change. There will always be change that is neither good nor bad (this is often mistaken for bad change). If you aren't finding music you like, you aren't looking in the right place. It exists. Music changes, as does everything else as time flows on. It doesn't degrade, that's just your perspective. I promise you this. In 20-so years (or fewer), people will probably be calling the music that they make today great music, and wishing for the good old days again. That's my opinion. I have no idea whether you'll listen to it, but I'm putting it out there the same.

If I heard Shut Up and Dance on the radio, I'd switch it because I didn't want it to be ruined. As of now, it's still a good song, but HUNDREDS of awesome songs are now just "meh" because they were overplayed. I am pretty happy with how things went though; I'm glad Walk the Moon got the attention and credit they deserve (because they make incredibly euphoric music), and I'm also glad it wasn't Anna Sun that blew up. Anna Sun introduced me to this band, and I forever hope it will be underplayed so that it will always be special to me :-)

I had one if the best memories of my life to this song.. My best friend was visiting me. We met while I was still in high school but when I graduated, I moved across the country and we hadn't gotten to see each other for a couple years.. for my 21st birthday he flew all the way to see me for a whole week. After a long day of adventures, we were heading home for the night. I was living at my mom's out in the outskirts of town.. This song came on about a mile before the house. As said, I was living with my mom's and it was late so she was expecting us back at a curfew. I cranked the volume as loud as it could go and we enjoyed the tunes. The song wasn't even half over by the time we made it to our turn.. But I looked over at him and him at me and I yelled "FUCK IT!" Over the music, hit the gas pedal to the floor and kept on driving into the night. I never sang so loud or felt so much emotion on my life. It was so powerful. The moment is unforgettable. But instead of enjoying this song like I used to, it hurts now.. And feels so wrong to hear it without him.. we've had a fallout and haven't spoken in a while for personal reasons... Java, if you see this.. I know why you're listening to this. Please believe me, I'm sorry. I love you, still. Forgive me..

The first time I heard this song, I was having a crappy day, my parents were yelling at me, I was depressed and hating myself. I turned on a random Spotify playlist to drown out all of the nasty feelings, just so I could not think about life for a minute. This song turned on. It made me my insides feel warm. I felt good for once. It made me smile for the first time in weeks. I played it on repeat for the next hour. From there on out, I would always come back to this song whenever I felt like harming myself, or if I just felt like shit. It's one of the few things that actually helped me with my depression. It's just so beautiful. Sorry for the length of my rant, have a nice day.

Cage the Elephant, weezer, foo fighters, arctic monkeys, smashing pumpkins, green day, nirvana, red hot chili peppers, the offspring, coldplay, R.E.M, the strokes, U2, paramore, fall out boy, panic at the disco, gorillaz, and the killers are all great bands. I live in Atlanta, so for me the great alt station is 105.7 and on sirius XM the spectrum and the coffee shop are great stations.

I recently saw them in Dallas with PATD and I was really surprised when I found out how many people listen to them, I used to listen (and still do) to them a lot a couple of years ago and I'm glad people have been able to find this amazing band. (Even though people are saying Joey did it better? Which, no one can top Nicholas Petricca, but okay.)

Lyric/: Screen falling off the door door hanging off the hinges my Feet are still sore my back is on the fringes We tore up the walls we slept on couches We lifted this house we lifted this house Fire-crackers in the east my car parked south Your hands on my cheeks your shoulder in my mouth I was up against the wall on the west mezzanine We rattle this town, we rattle this scene O, Anna Sun O, Anna Sun What do you know? this house is falling apart What can I say? this house is falling apart We got no money, but we got heart We're gonna rattle this ghost town This house is falling apart Screen falling off the door door hanging off the hinges My feet are still sore my back is on the fringes We were up against the wall on the west mezzanine We rattle this town we rattle this scene O, Anna Sun O, Anna Sun What do you know? this house is falling apart What can I say? this house is falling apart We got no money, but we got heart We're gonna rattle this ghost town What do you know? this house is falling apart What can I say? this house is falling apart We got no money, but we got heart We're gonna rattle this ghost town This house is falling apart This house is falling apart Live my life without Station wagon rides Fumbling around the back Not one seat belt on Wait for summertime Coming up for air Now it's all a wash Now it's all a wash Live my life without Coming up for air Now it's all a wash I want everyone Racing down the hill I am faster than you Wait for summertime Wait for summertime O, Anna Sun O, Anna Sun, sun What do you know? this house is falling apart What can I say? this house is falling apart We got no money, but we got heart We're gonna rattle this ghost town What do you know? this house is falling apart What can I say? this house is falling apart We got no money, but we got heart We're gonna rattle this ghost town This house is falling apart This house is falling apart This house is falling apart We're gonna rattle this ghost town This house is falling apart This house is falling apart

Hearing this song brings me back to the summer of 2012. I was in college at the time and I’d hear this song on satellite radio a lot on my way to and from work. I worked a minimum wage job and would drive 40 minutes each way to and from work just to keep the job when I returned to school in the fall. In hindsight it was kind of a dumb idea especially since it was the worst job I’ve ever worked but hearing this song during my commute was really comforting, especially on beautiful evenings with the windows down on days where I didn’t have to return the next day. I’m glad that isn’t my life anymore, but at least one good memory came from it.
