I had to think about that but its true. Ancient: simple drum pattern, probably the most simple, electric guitar from the 70s, synth from the 80s, not too knowledgable on 90s mainstream pop, vague memory of 2000s mainstream (fergie, outkast, black eyed peas) but from those 2 decades I feel like they probably took the technological advancements in music that made it sound modern as well.
