I beg to differ, its not even the best institute for mathematics in India...Chennai Mathematical Institute(CMI) and the Indian Statistical Institute( both ISI-B and ISI-K) are better for maths.

Lovely video. I love the campus. No I am not a student there 😀 My son is an aspiring neuroscientist and he is researching at IISC. I walked through a couple of those beautiful roads, stopped by to watch a few snails race down in slow motion and took pics of abandoned building within the campus... but missed the bodhi tree. Thanks for sharing that. It's just a great place to be. And the purity of thought, those student vibes are always so 💝💝. Happy 2023.

Good compilation with innocent commentary - I like it :-). I used to come to IISc to meet my friend who was studying there. We both did our engineering from MSRIT - a college that shared boundary with IISC. He joined IISc after engineering and I picked up a job. IISc has a calm and soothing energy :-).

heyyaa!! am Arush and I just found out about this Institute of science....I only use to know about IIT just cuz of how massively popular IIT is and obviously my parents want me to go for IIT tho....Am fortunate to have parents who actually don't force me or my sis to go in IIT or AIMS or be engineer or doctor and stuff but this is my dream now!!! more like my aim or getting in IISc...reason is I really wanna be an astrophysicist and to be that a person needs to have majors in Physics but than am interested in Aerospace engineering too cuz I love rocket science :") is it possible to complete engineering in IIT and than join IISc for master in physics and than PhD???? am soooo confused related to this 🙂btw am a 15 year old 10th std student :)

I just don't like the vibe of colleges/universities because of bad infra and outdated syllabus. Universities abroad as next level infra along with next level peer group. I see ACM ICPC student here in IISC. But still look at Russia ,China , Japan and The United States. Always in top 10 of ACM ICPC finals.

hey, there are multiple ways to study in IISc depends on your graduation subject.. in cae you are preparing for masters. otherwise bachelors k liye toh bache JEE advance and NEET k score se entry lete hain. either way you will have to prepare for competitive exams

Hey IISc, takes admission based on JEE rank.. they have one BS research course and other BTech in mathematics and computing course for UG.. so in nutshell you need to prepare for JEE and then you can apply for IISC
