IISc students don't have time to play with sand. Their days starts at 7 am. They get ready and have breakfast in the mess and head to the lab for work. Their day ends at 2 am at night. There is a lot of "Ishq" in the air and most students find a partner by the time they come out to go abroad.

Ma'am I wanted to ask a question on the overall culture of IISc. I plan to apply there for my masters next year, and my end goal is mostly to develop something, or incubate some sort of idea with professors over there. Does such an environment exist at IISc? Or are people there mostly placements focussed, and what I want to do(basically developing algorithms for drones, rovers, making them autonomous and taking them into the industry as a startup) is more beneficial for me if I apply to a college like Carnegie Mellon, or Stanford or something like that?

@@RajdeepThaosen hey I did not really prepare anything specifically for nvidia, their online test was mostly operating system computer architecture gate level qsn and 2 easy level programming qsn. But in the interview they prefer people with C or CPP language and ask questions from OOB concepts. Also they ask bit manipulation qsns and now I see why they ask because we perform a lot of bit manipulation in our programming here. Other than that orepare operating system concept like scheduling algo deadlock semaphore, they even ask you to inplement these os concept using C. Fir example fcfs algo or any other also
