Walk with me | Ep. 10 - Shimla, Himachal Pradesh | A Day At The Peterhof & A Mediterranean Brunch

[e-mail] | Shimla, Sep, 2023: This video starts at the beautiful rooftop of a restaurant located at The Mall in Shimla. As the bright sun shines warmly on this mildly chilly morning, we dive into our delicious Mediterranean brunch and coffee.
From the restaurant we start heading westwards on The Mall and keep walking, following the twists and turns of the road ahead, until we reach Observatory Hill. While earlier we explored he more famous Viceregal Lodge on this hill, our current video is all about the place where the Viceroys stayed before the famous lodge was built. This place was called Peterhof or Peter’s Court if translated into English.
The source of this name is unclear but the place itself is a beautiful spot that should be included on all Shimla itineraries. In this video we spend time relaxing and rejuvenating at the Peterhof, and top it off with a warm cup of average coffee. We enjoy the majestic views from the massive front lawns of Peterhof before starting back.
We descend the Observatory Hill as the evening sun casts long dark shadows on the road ahead. The video ends somewhere along these beautiful views of a young Shimla evening.
