Walk with me | Ep. 5 - Shimla, Himachal Pradesh | Relax in Kufri, Trek in Naldehra

Aug, 2023 | Shimla, Himachal Pradesh: This video starts in Shimla as we descend from the level of The Mall down to the level of Lakkar Bazar road from where we take our ride of the day. The plan for the day involved traveling to places around Shimla city.
We start the journey with an ascent to the cold town of Kufri that is located at an altitude of around 2700 meters. We don't do much during our sunny and cold afternoon in Kufri. We just enjoy eating a nice warm lunch in the cold weather and enjoy relaxing walk around the restaurant. The lazy afternoon engulfs us in its warm relaxing tentacles as we observe local Himachali people rest away and sleep away the afternoon.
From Kufri we start our journey towards Naldehra via the famous Apple town of Fagu. Naldehra is located at roughly the same altitude as Shimla but looks very different and very peaceful and very idyllic. We get on top of a pony and trek to the top. of a famous hill here in Naldehra and we witness stunning views of one of the biggest and one of the highest golf courses in India. This golf course was ordered by the British Viceroy to India, Lord Curzon.
After spending a very relaxing and peaceful and complative hour and half in Naldehra and after enjoying a hot strong delicious tea to top it off we say goodbye to the place and start our journey back towards Shimla. Our video ends just as we continue with our ascent from the Lakkar Bazar area towards The Mall.
