"Bjørvika" is a neighborhood in the Sentrum borough of Oslo, Norway. The area is an inlet in the inner Oslofjord. This revitalized port district is known for its strikingly contemporary architecture, including "Oslo Opera House" _ the home of the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, and the national opera house in Norway _ and the "Barcode" _ a collection of futuristic office and residential buildings. Across the street and towards the fjord, lies the new "Munch Museum" _ an art museum dedicated to the life and works of the Norwegian artist "Edvard Munch" and the new building was opened in 2021.

«Frozen» was just a movie. But this youtube Oslo is frozen for real and made me think. What will happen to sea-levels when Oslo melts if spring comes again? Maybe you can make a canal-tour of the lower streets then, I hope you will. Until then, keep on walking. < with safety piggs under your shoes. (Maybe Norway could make it a business to export/transport excess ice to the poles or events to get the spring back quick?)

Thanks for watching 😊 well generally in the south-eastern part of Norway (which includes Oslo), winter starts from the middle of November until March approximately. The coldest weather is usually experiend in January. But it depends; Last year for example, it was not as cold as this year 😉
