I'm looking to upgrade my iPhone for my vlogging but I noticed Tim and Hannah Ricketts sporting these Pocket cams instead ... they seem more rugged than a smartphone as I keep dropping the damn things!

Great to see the behind the scenes! Always watch @walkwithmetim and want more of his experience but realize the difficulties of trying to fit it all in. Especially when I go to a hotel and see that when check in is at 3 and check out at eleven gives you barely any time to enjoy just as a regular guest let alone trying to film it all. Love you guys and appreciate all you do!

I absolutely LOVE these behind the scenes vlogs! I often get distracted while watching Tim's videos just thinking of how he plans his days to get certain shots, do voiceovers, etc. (I work in production for live arts, so this is how my brain works...) You and Gabby make us watch your channel because you are both really down to earth and don’t take yourselves too seriously. Tim does a really thorough review of his hotels . Good and bad . This was truly amazing to see the behind the scenes. When i watch Tim it always seems so easy & effortless, but it isnt is it! Tim trying to get the lighting right & calming Casper all while putting the camera in the right position while coughing then producing his talents on camera 🤳 Its certainly not as easy as it looks! And naughty Casper getting chocolate all over Daddys Gimbel! I never knew the camera moved its head automatically as Tim was speaking until the bit when Tim was talking in the restaurant & i could see the cameras head moving, its like a living thing! Nice to see the camera responsible for all these great shots! It can't be easy talking to a camera tho! Very interesting vlog Gaby your filming of Tim filming was excellent 👌.

Is it required that you have a cigar as you mentioned ??? Or did you mean it could be an acquired taste. I am confused, mind you it does mot take much to do that lol. Like you I stopped smoking a long time ago but I still fear a puff would have me wanting more. Nice video thank you it was a beautiful hotel and as usual Tim did a great review. You looked lovely going for dinner. I agree the wall art of the trees at Breakfast. was almost 3D. Casper was a credit to you. The older well built hotels are more soundproofed so good for children but Casper is so well behaved so good soundproofing was not an essential asset. .

Loved this different view. When you’re watching the vlogs of the over night stays, it all looks so natural. But seeing it from this end it shows everything you have to consider, trying your best to get the right shot and interesting things that you think we’d like to see and know about. Taking your time to get each shot right, maybe redoing it. Enough footage to get 30minutes of really good quality vlog is a lot harder than people might think.

Gaby love that saying “if you want a good wife it comes at a price” I’m going to use that saying on my husband 😂. As a keen amateur photographer, it was great and very enjoyable to see an extended BTS of Tim. I also agree with Tim that he should do a BTS of you. You were correct about the salty items, it is mainly to get you to buy more drinks. An aunt and uncle of mine ran a pub for many years and always had salted peanuts and like on the bar! [And, as a train and bus enthusiast (or anorak as we are sometimes known as!) I noted that on the journey down to London you were on the Stanstead Airport line and not on the direct Norwich/London line. Engineering work?]

Hi TIm, this video shows another side to all your videos - firstly, I can tell you've not fully recovered from this virus was it a flu? You're not fully 100%, I can also see how stressful it might be to get all the footage, angles etc - this just doesn't come across in your brilliant videos - and it's so so clear to me now that you can hardly enjoy these hotel trips at all because it really is work - the viewer is the only one who's really getting the enjoyment - this is definitely appearing hard work and your a nice gentle guy.
