Thanks for sharing. If you can get the interaction up even if it is just talking to people playing with you I guess it will work. How many soicial games that you can talk and not just write with people are there honestly?

Too bad Apple refuses to allow the Vision Pro to be a VR gaming device, because the vision pro hand tracking is good enough that I imagine you could make a Vision Pro version where one could putt by using a real putter or any kind of stick or pole.

They allow games just not VR controllers. Which in most cases makes it almost impossible to port. I think walkabout has potential if they wanted to port it.

From the videos I’ve seen Vision Pro’s hand tracking is far too slow for any game requiring fast movement. It struggled to keep up with Synth Riders. It’s not at the level of Quest’s tracking. Hopefully it’ll get there in time. It took Meta years to get to the point where they could pull off a game like the boxing demo. Even if Apple improves the tracking there’s no gyroscope to help tracking when your hand moves out of the camera’s field of view. Unless Apple releases controllers and a guardian system AVP gaming is going to be extremely limited.

Developing this instead of any mixed reality mode for quest 3? This looks awful. Why would I want to play online with people who are, by design, less focused and immersed? 'With our new mode you can play mini-golf with people in the middle of eating their dinners!" Is not a good sales pitch. Add any option to allow me to play the DLC i bought online, in game please! Quickplay has no preference options and always selects a base level easy course, even though I've bought every dlc. So frustrating!
