Hi Laura. So sad to see the fountain without Bently licking up the water😥🌹

I'm sure I'm not the only one, but hearing the fountain at the beginning knowing Bentley won't be there drinking out of it made me very sad. I loved your lovely succulent dog. Love from Canada.

It encourages me socmuch Laura, to hear that you struggle with your Imbricattas as well. One of my favorites but they just aren't too hardy for me either.

Oh Laura, I love your Walk about Wednesdays. You have such an outstanding garden of succulents...Wow! Gorgeous! Your Garden of Death area...do the plants you have there, do they a 50/50 chance to make it or not? 🌵👍

Your garden is beautiful! Ants farm scale in my garden. They choose a plant to infest, and protect the scale from natural predators. Only pests that are ever a problem are the ants’ scale farm (they eat scale’ secretions).

What is the purple ruffly cabbage looking plant in the front yard tapestry?
@ChrisstinaMorgan2 ай бұрын
With scale it's a mistery. I can have 2 identical plants next to each othey (literally 10 cm) and 1 would be covered on scale while 2nd would have none. Couple months ago even more strange thing happened in my garden: I have 3 Dorotheas planted 1 foot apart each other and the middle one decided to rot off... I'm still very puzzled about it

02:10 I’m thinking the _Echinopsis_ is variegated, for sure, but just extremely so. An extreme lack of chlorophyll, although there are still some greener sections visible. So that’s good. I don’t know quite how detrimental the lack of chlorophyll is for cacti, as all of my cacti are green (lol), or if they burn easily… but for tropicals and houseplants, like _Monstera_ or _Philodendron_ for example, the variegated and white plants are highly coveted (and priced-$100’s for a one-leaf cutting). Sadly, the less green in a plant seems to indicate the closer to death it is! 😂 🫤 So spending that kind of money is ridiculous unless the person growing it understands the plant may sunburn, but yet also NEEDS light because of the no-chlorophyll-thing… cacti seem to fluctuate between variegated, marbled, spotted, fully yellow (aurea variegata) and some white (albo variegata), while some, like yours, seem to just dominate with one color over time, but they do just fine!
