Although I feel bad for the aloe and the echeveria, it's good to know that THE Laura Eubanks is a mortal like the rest of us. Thanks for humbly admitting your mistakes. The changes in the "seasons" here (really we have only two: a hellish dry season and drenching, humid monsoon) decimated some of my plants. And I do take their deaths badly sometimes. I definitely learned a thing or two today. Thanks, Laura

Hi Laura I love your shows 😀 I'm in Queensland Australia just north of Brisbane. I was having a coffee and noticed that some of the succulents from up in the kitchen looked like Coral so I made colourful fish out of wood and set them in place. I thought I was the only one who thought of doing it but to my surprise others have already done it. My wife loved it.💗💗💗

I always learn really key info in your backyard. Shade, water, sunburn, pest control (causing death oops), heat, dormancy, cutting off roots and resetting succulents to control growth and size and color, while being aware of season, temperature, sunlight, and watering. A feast.

Have you ever seen where a gardener uses a sheet of remesh/rebar $12 at Lowe's just bend it over and let your jasmine climb away. Would make a cool tunnel. Maybe some hoya climbing on it.

You have ignited my love of succulents. I have a plan to put in a very small succulent tapestry in my garden. I live in zone 5 Massachusetts. I wish I could grow the beauties you do in southern CA but alas, my choices for outdoor plants is limited to sempervivum and sedum. If you know about others, I love to hear where I could get them. LOVE walkabout Wednesdays. Do you think a gutter garden would survive here?

Plan on bringing your succulents in as soon as temps begin to drop and days get shorter. Nurture a fabulous collection of potted succulents. Install a greenhouse. These are some ways to enjoy succulents year round in your area. It’s tough and a lot of work. I have great respect for folks that can find success with succulents in tough climates! Good luck and thanks so much for subscribing😊

My plants powered through daily 40-42 degrees Celsius for more than a month here in the tropics. Yes, a night-time watering helps a lot. The plants have to be totally drenched and the soil has to be well-draining. You might need to water more often, too. In my case here, since my plants are in shallow pots, every 3 days. They are getting much needed reprieve now from the rainy season.

Is there a specific bougainvillea you bought for that pot o' succulents? Would like to do the same but I'm scared I buy a creeper by mistake. And do you just clip it to be a canopy or is that it's natural growth with nothing at the bottom? Love it so much!!!

I love your videos normally, but have a problem with you promoting LGBTQ issues while the west has the most aggressive policies and laws in place to protect people! How is it equal rights for biological born women when transgender men have an unfair advantage over normal women due to higher testosterone levels and skeletal, muscle and fat distribution differences?
