What a lovely walkabout, today, thank you! I never thought I’d ever have a fountain of my own to plant out, as I was worried that our winds up here in the Spanish mountains would knock it right over and smash it.....oh, believe me, these winds can! But my husband knew my ‘style’ so he bought me a single level fountain on a pedestal, and he’s fixed it in place with the ‘Spanish tool of choice’ which is concrete......and I had a wonderful time planting, all due to you. We were chatting with friends about it, and I didn’t realise my husband had picked up so much info in passing......I heard him tell a neighbour why I’d used sticks on fire as the thriller, had used many different fillers and then strings of pearls for the spillers! He says he’s not interested, but Im not fooled. He’s really happy the way our garden is shaping, much to his shock! Thank you for these videos, Laura......look forward to them every day. Love xx

Laura check and compare the moisture level of the two red bowls on the colums. I bet the one with larger plants stays moist longer than the other one in between the waterings. Partially clogged drainage hole and/or different soil mix can be some factors.

Hi Laura..!!! What about watering the smaller red pot on your entry pillar more often and withhold water on the larger one to even them out..? Also, I rooted 3 spiraling cactus cuttings here in Florida and they ALL stopped spiraling and grew straight like normal cactus. Any suggestions...??? You garden always looks fantastic...! Love walk about Wednesdays..!

Laura. I am one of your avid fans looking every day to see what’s new . However I was watching a makeover you did in a small installation and you had empty bright coloured pots and gutters and then I couldn’t find it. I have a tiny courtyard garden in Adelaide South Australia and my succulent s are mostly on pots 🌵🌵🌵

2:55 Perhaps replace the really big aloe (far left at 11:48 ) next to the pond that's eating up the space with that one? I think it might fit the theme and stay small enough.

Just beautiful! Your love of plants is infectious. Here in Scottsdale it's more difficult to grow more finicky succulents....but I'm determined! I'm assuming a tall aloe ferox can be treated like all other succulents. Cut the long trunk back and reset...correct?

Hello Laura, your channel is superb, I follow it from France! would it be possible to have the names of the plants written down from time to time? because it is not always easy to understand everything well in a foreign language! About your lemon tree it would deserve a good pruning to guide the tree to a good shape and also a little fertilizer and good watering! citrus plants are very greedy in nutrition and water! good continuation

I love your garden its amazing...just a tiny concern about using a systemic outside on roses. It's gonna kill all the bees that comes for the nectar, no? I am in PA and won't treat my roses or lilly bushes with systemic due to this reason. Please investigate, we need our pollinators. I also thought systemics weren't aloud in CA. If I am wrong,, and I pray I am wrong, please let us know what's exactly better systemic that doesn't harm our pollinators.
