This bike is beautifully build, love the small bags, the floor boards, the trunk, the style and the practicality in this bike are on point! I've been debating between this, a Lowrider S, or a touring model, but I don't think I want a big bike for every day commuting. I rented a Heritage for a few days, in paper it was the perfect bike for me but hated it, handles like a 18 wheeler. I test rode a Dyna fat bob a few years ago and loved it.

Great video. You mentioned that the SP Connect mount also holds your TomTom navigation device (in additional to your cell phone). I'd like to use that same mount for either a cell phone or a GPS navigation device. Thanks!

Hey Keith - I put an SP Connect universal mount on the back of my TomTom. This mount just slid down between the ears on the back of my TomTom so I didn't even need to use the 3M on it. Looks Good! I went with Dougz Spartan fairing & painted it to match the bike. Ends Cuoio makes, arguably the best bag on the market. I have the Glam Rapid. Much larger than yours but fills that side in well, protects the side mount plate & balances well with the pipes. Got my Jokers ordered....trying to source the rear brake pedal from a dealer within range from me....they are scarce right now. How do I send you some pics??

Are you on Instagram? You can DM photos there. My ID is bhnwpercy. I'm also on Facebook facebook.com/bhnwpercy You are right about the Ends Cuoio bags. I replaced the stock seat. Here's the video I did on that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppuTeWydrsZoZ7M I really like the Kuryakyn Vagabond bag but that might be too small for 2 people, depending on the length of the trip. You might look at the HD stock "tall" sissy bar (which isn't exactly "tall") and the HD luggage. It's really hard to beat their luggage for touring and it fits really well on the bike.

Great work on the channel dude. I’m enjoying the insight and potential options to use on changing up my Fat Bob. When you installed the CJ Motorsport risers, did you have to extend the cables at all? I have not been able to find any tutorials on how to install these. Thanks.
@withPercy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kind words!! Really appreciate that. The risers are super easy to install and did not require any modifications to the cables. I went with 1.5” risers and I’ve seen posts by other people who went with the CJ Motorsports up to 3” that said they did not have to replace/extend cables. If you go to the 2018+ Softails section of HDForums.com, there is a really long thread there from last summer/fall when he was fabricating these. Tons of information from people who installed different sizes. Search for CJ Motorsports in that forum and you’ll see the thread. Best of luck and thanks for watching!
