As a White Aussie, I can vouch that this IS the China I saw. Futuristic and Progressive Cities. Clean. No beggars in the streets unlike what I saw in LA and NYC when I visited the USA (I'm proud to say that we have very FEW, if any, beggars in Australia as well). And the people of China (whether from Guangdong, Beijing, Shanghai ...) were so respectful, helpful, and polite. Our Governments from around the world need to STOP TRASHING each other and just work together. Every country I've been to, the PEOPLE have been FANTASTIC. It's the Governments of Countries that interfere and cause the fights. Just STOP and remember that we are ALL HUMAN BEINGS LIVING ON PLANET EARTH! And just leave it at that!

that's so sweet. as a Chinese descent born in Indonesia that has never been to China, I have always been amazed by china because western media always lie about china and there is no one positive news in southeast Asia about china except that communists are evil, dangerous, etc. I just can't believe some people here still actually believe in western media lies. I did study in Sydney though, I love the city, the people are friendly, respect other people's privacy, and helpful. I still have FB friends in Sydney, it's been about 20 years since I was there and there are many changes including traffic jams, which I've never seen before. well, I hope the Australian government, especially Morrison will stop following whatever us dictate to them, cheers.

China is building a smart green city near Beijing, which will be the future city. It is called xiong'an new area. It will be initially completed in 2022, the main city will be completed in 2035, and it will be improved and get to the top by 2050.

I've only been to Shanghai and Beijing when I spent a week in China, but the streets are pretty much like this over there. Very clean and there are men picking up litter. China is a naturally breathtakingly beautiful country.

Its high technology, innovations and creativity is second to none! Probably the most advanced city in China and in the world as well. Chengdu and chongqing are also developed and have long subways the same length as that of tokyo. I visited them recently. Chongqing is more developed than hong kong in terms of high rises and subways.
