Finally got a chance to visit, and wow it's a lot of fun here. It may not be as rich as Shanghai, as cultured as Beijing, or as steeped in history as Xi'an, but it has a lot of charm, character, and liveliness that you can't really experience fully until you come in person. I ended up canceling a part of my trip to spend more time in Changsha.
