Mrs R is spot on about the video. Some great scenes, Ted looking through the bracken, rabbit jumping over him, and of course the Grouse.

Ted about folded himself in half a few times ........ don't you just love that! Man those rabbits lay tight in the heather .... thought the one was going to run right up the back of Ted, using him as a springboard! Crazy action .... great film coverage ...... doesn't get too much better than that. Take care.

Nick Ridley when that hare jumped over him I was sure he'd at least flinch, he held great. Has to be reassuring he will hold when you need to take a shot.

Nick that was your best video yet, loved the flushes, laughed when the rabbit jumped Ted and when you missed getting the double, it happens to the best of us.

What a brilliant video & that dog is something else. That flush on the rabbit where it turned 180 degrees was something else. It's safe to say your shooting on ground game needs worked on lol.

Really enjoyed that cheers nick thanks for sharing it with us. Would love to do some walked up stuff like that. Would it be to much to ask if you buy your days or shoot over some of you perms mate ?
@Pettycordgundogs7 жыл бұрын
adam furby Hi Adam....we buy some days and are lucky enough to get a few invites. Our bought days tend to be on the boundary’s of larger shoots but they are difficult to find as we do not want a load of birds as for us it is all about shooting over our dogs and the bag number is irrelevant.
@adamfurby76877 жыл бұрын
Nick Ridley would be the same for me mate bags irrelevant, shot a walk one stand one last weekend with max my ess and I enjoyed the walked drives more than being pegged out got to stunning cock birds and hare all day but went home happy. 👌🏼 again thanks for sharing it with us!
