With the exception of not having dark hair and green eyes, he is Percy Jackson. As much as I wanted the actors to look like they are described in the books, I like all the cast, especially the main 3. It sucks the guy that played Zeuss died, he was really good.

It would be super cool to see HoO after the first 5 books! That’s the cool part about adapting a franchise: the people that watch it during the height of the popularity are growing up WITH the cast and the characters and I think that shift would be super cool to see.

I really hope they do make heroes of Olympus and shift the tone a bit darker. It could be targeted towards older teenagers, the preteens right now who are watching the show . And that could also draw in more adult audiences. I just think it would be a good move on Disney’s part money wise if the Percy Jackson show does well

Honesty I really hope they go on until hero’s of Olympus. Personally it is not dark I mean most of the books are just pain and … pain which is basically every day life . Plus I really want to audition for Leo he is amazing I literally could go on about him for ever which I will. I mean he is the most badass character and at the same time feels like crap which I can relate to a lot and other people do so please for the sake of my dignity and my mental stability make hero’s of Olympus thx 😊

Timing is key with this story…and it is going FAST. Walker was 13 when cast and turned 15 by the time season 1 aired….if season 2 is not green lit and filmed soon there is going to be a huge gap in appearance…and seasons 3-5 will have an adult Percy…defeats the casting age appropriate actors.

The hard part about adapting The Heros pf Olympus is that the whole story happens during some weeks, so doing 1 book per season would make it last 5 seasons, what, 5 years at the best case? That plus the fact that they probably won't do PJO seasons in only one year (or they should be already ending filming it to release early 2025). We would have a Bloof of Olympus with Percy and Annabeth, like, more than 25 years old even though they have around 17.
