Walker Valley Part Two: Humps and Bumps

Welcome to our latest video on Walker Valley ORV in Washington state! This video was filmed in October of 2022 when there was an abundance of wildfire smoke in the area.
To quote Casey LaDelle: "I never said I was good at this."
This is part two of our Walker Valley adventure. In this video, we went Humps and Bumps to the 4x4 skill area. We then went down Around the Sound and Upper Mainline. Humps and Bumps is an easy trail that leads to the more challenging rock gardens and ledges of the 4x4 Skills Area. Around the Sound led to Upper Mainline, a moderate trail with a few obstacles. We are glad we get to share our experience with you!
We exited through the north go-around gate, which was a very tight squeeze for our Jeep, Janet. Along with us were our friends Scott and Jen who have a red Jeep named Roadrunner.
We want to note that some commentors on our Shorts video are under the misconception that going around the gate is illegal. Here at Walker Valley, the gate is intended to be a literal "Go-Around" gate. These qualifiers were placed by the Washington Department of Natural Resources to prevent vehicles from entering the park that should not be there. The gates themselves allow law enforcement, rescue, and maintenance personnel to enter as needed.

Sad thing is humps and bumps as well as the skills area have been closed untill further notice due to lonngin sence i believe october.

Oh, that's a bummer. Same thing happened down here to Cedar Tree in Brown's Camp.
