Amish Mowing Down Their Hiding Place

Today we try to get even with the coyotes that attacked our dog JoJo. We set up a freedom perch to scope out the freshly mowed hay field after the amish showed up with 6 different tractors and mowed our hay fast.. Thanks for watching and God Bless!

🍅That nice big GREEN Tomato is just the right size to make a nice fried green tomato. Sliced thick, dredged in an eggwadh & then thru’ seasoned flour & cornmeal mix. Fry until golden brown-Mmmm. Sliced Okra🥒 is good treated like that as well!(btw:no emojis for okra!)

Peter Santenello did a great series on the Amish and Mennonites around the country. There are several branches and they each have their own rules. The group he interviewed in Florida were a hoot. And some he simply couldn't film or even talk to.

Hey guys, you may have had a less than good experience with lamb at the Brazilian Steakhouse, but let me assure you that prepared properly you will love a good thick lamb chop ( with a splash of garlic oil and served with mint jelly ) or a well prepared lamb roast. We have lamb quite often.

Here in Western Pennsylvania, the amish use tractors to work, but use transport vans,or horse and buggy to where the tractors are. Still not allowed to own a personal car

Good luck on the coyoting Cassie & Gary. Some people don't like it, but when your property is overwhelmed with them & endangering you, your family, pets & stock, something has to be done. My daughter's property has them on 3 sides. My granddaughters dog was attacked about 3 weeks ago by a coyote. Still on the mend. So again, Good Luck to you all!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻.👍🤞.

Had a similar thing happen in our area...Almost killed one of two neighbor dogs, leaping the chain-link fence, going after them... There was blood everywhere-and That is when I called The Sheriff’s Office AND Local Police... Enough WAS Enough. IF The Coyotes ARE Going After Neighbor’s Dogs-What About Their LITTLE-KIDS??? LE Definitely Got On It-And Within A Month Or So-Barely Any More Coyotes Running In The Field Beyond The Windbreak, Up The Hill Out Back... There were SO Many Coyotes, Breeding And Running Like Crazy... Can’t Be For Sure-But From I Understand...Someone Ended Up Doing The Only Thing They Could Do-Track Them Down And Poison Them... Very SAD...But What To Do When There’s Tooo Many, They’re Waaay Out Of Control AND WORSE-Jumping Fences To Go After Neighboring-DOGS???... Wouldn’t Be Ling, At THAT Rate- For LITTLE KIDS To Become Effected... It HAD To-STOP. ⚪️ 😤

Put a bay leaf or two in each jar should help with mushy. Next you need to try fermentation pickling, it's easy and very healthy. No vinegar needed, just salt, water , spices, and whatever you're pickling.

Freedom perch is the Walker Farm Overwatch. Ransom was already for the overwatch position with his camo and face paint. ONELLOPS on KZbin does coyote hunting. Maybe you can get some pointers. Also they have a little machine that flips a 2”ish stick with a feather or fur on the end. You help attract Coyote visually along with sound.

We live in Hartford, WI. And they just mowed the hay for feed by us, first time this year, and they got a boat load of feed! We've only been here for three years, but we were amazed at how much they got this time. They were out here until 11 pm.

There’s more than one type of Amish. The Old Order are more strict and may not use tractors. I live in an Amish area in Michigan and it is not uncommon to see tractors or skid steers hauling a few of them down our road on the way to work in the fields while horse drawn buggies move the women and children between farms and stores. The Mennonites are prominent here also but can drive cars and trucks and often haul the Amish around when weather is bad. I am fortunate to live where I am because Of the abundance of fresh meats, fruits and vegetables they offer at the stores as well as delicious baked goods all at reasonable prices. They are all very pleasant to deal with as well as knowledgeable in many different areas! I hope you get the” revenge” your looking for on those coyotes!

Each Amish community is governed by an Ordnung, or set of rules. Most of these are traditional and passed down orally. When a community sees a need to adjust a rule (like our eastern Oklahoma Amish adding the use of voicemail and tractors) the community debates and decides as a whole. The council also selects the bishop (by lottery), who is considered the head servant of the church, not a "leader" as we "English" know the term. The power, if any, resides in the council.

The amush here in PA use tractors also. If it is for the betterment of the farm they will use mechanical equipment.
