We just cried so hard on the taxi from the airport. You just wouldn't not believe how jagged and tall the mountains are...picutres just don't do it justice.

Glad to see you back. Just started watching the entire Walkers Haute Route playlist. Looks spectacular. ☮️

Thank you for your support! Finally got our act together to get the videos all out. We have two more Haute Route videos left for you. The Europaweg will be the grand finale.

Like those trail intersection signs in hours versus miles. Have you found them somewhat accurate for your pace? Great trip.... funny how the Simpsons make their presence known around the world 😀

They were extremely accurate! I think we should use hours in the US too...really helps folks to consider how long a trail takes and maybe would prevent some rescues!

Have the mountains back home looked tiny after experiencing this trip to the Alps?
@hikinghomesteaders9 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, yes...But Appalachia is such a special place to us. And something the alps did not offer...lush moss forests, many trees, and diverse mushrooms...We missed our trees dearly.
