Take an afternoon walk with me around Dumaguete Negros Oriental Philippines. As soon as I arrived here, I had a great meal and a lovely staff at my hotel, this really gave me a first good impression of Dumaguete. This place is definitely not as densely populated as the majority of the areas that I explore, but I kinda like this vibe. Things are a bit spread out, and sometimes it's a bit hard to predict the flow of the city, but all in all, I like Dumaguete Negros Occidental. This video is just a glimpse of the area, and if you want to watch more on this place, I'm sure that you can find other videos from the many walkers here in the Philippines. I did have a good time here, the people are great, makes me want to come back! =)

I think that I have seen HUNDREDS of walking videos throughout Dumaguete. However, they were narrated as opposed to just listening to the street sounds. The thing that sticks out is how much of a college town Dumaguete is with Sillamon University. Another great video.

I really love the Dumaguete vibe it is a city with convenience and 30 minutes to one hour away from clean beaches, waterfalls, rivers and mountains. I maybe bias because it's the capital city of my province but I love that there are less people compared to other cities.

I am Vietnamese when I worked abroad I met a Filipino friend from the southern part of the visayas so I really like the cities in this area and when I researched I was surprised that the latitude of the Southern Visayas region and Dumaguate City is similar to the latitude of the provinces and cities in the region Mekong Delta in the South of my country so the climate is similar makes me feel like I'm in the inner city of some city like Rach Gia and Tra Vinh ❤

It’s been a month since I left Dumaguete and tbh, I miss everything about the city. I used to walk everyday on the sideways while wearing my earphones as I listen to my favourite music track. Someday I will be back into this city which I considered my second home for I think 2-3 years way back time. Dumaguete taught me modern things and gave me happy moments. Til then, Dumaguete City ❤.

Yes, has malls, bars, resto, close to hospital, options for transpo like bus, tricycle, motorcycle, grab. It's also safer there compared to other cities in Manila or Cebu. It's cheaper to live there.
