I was in Orikum last summer for only a few hours as we were traveling from Saranda to Tirana and had a nice lunch right in that restaurant at the beach you had your coffee and lunch. It looks totally different in summer time. The beach was packed with people. In case you're interested in ancient history, Orikum is the place where Caesar's army fought against Pompey's army and I think Caesar merged victorious. Great video though and stunning views of the beach and the mountains. Hope you will visit in summer time the whole Riviera. Tip: it gets really pricey in our Riviera during summer and that is by US standards.

- thanks for sharing! Yeah, I've heard the prices are quite crazy here in the summer. 😬 I've talked to local people in different parts of Albania and they have all said that they cannot even afford to go because the hotels are unbelievably expensive. 😧

- We were talking with each other about on Instagram last week. I messaged him when one of my friends in India told me about the news. Fresh off The press. Don't think I haven't been thinking about it, lol. Since I'm in this part of the world, I will probably hang out here during the summer, and then look into Asia again sometime this fall or early next year, I suppose.

The viewers are right about the weather, but that was in the past, especially in the 90s, after the last week of February or first week of March, it would get warm and stable. Since 2004 it has slowly degraded to the weather you have experienced. Even the old timer shepherds have told me, they used to take their sheep and cows into mountain pastures at the end of March, now they have to wait and do it at the end of May. The weather has cooled despite nonsense propaganda about needing to pay weather taxes to stop the warming.
