I lost my son in an accident just a few weeks after Carl passed on TWD. I can understand why it is hard to remember Carl's face with no pictures or video to look at. Almost 6 years later and sometimes I can go from heartbreaking memories of my CJ, to wondering if he ever existed. Losing a child is a grief I wish no one else would ever experience.

I loved this episode for many reasons but the top reason being IT WAS JUST THE TWO OF THEM in the entirety of the episode. They needed this and we as viewers needed it too. No interruptions, no bs, just straight up hashing things out to get to the bottom of the problem. Absolutely loved the style of this episode. I was always a Michonne fan but after this spinoff she is legitimately a QUEEN. Absolutely love her!

I’m so happy it was explained why Rick lost his faith in going home and it was so heartbreaking that not being able to remember Carls face was the final nail 😢 it reminded me of when Negan had him under the thumb and he’d lost all hope that time and then and now it was Michonne (and Carl) who made him realise who he really is. Beautiful episode, though I hope it ends with both of them getting out and getting on the road home!

I noticed how Rick is scared throughout all the episodes. In the helicopter, Michonne is stone cold and Rick is nervous as hell in that storm. I think Jadis is sent to investigate and going to find just enough evidence in that rubble to show they survived the heli crash. OR Michonne's locater sends a signal when it hit the ground before it's destroyed.

Deni did an amazing job with this writing and their acting was so, so good. I actually cried and its been a long time since a show made me cry. I love their push and pull and how Michone did push Rick. She let him tell her why. Loved the nod to Carl!! It made me feel like i used to feel during the walking dead. Another pointer is the two times Rick has broken down and felt helpless was both centered around Carl , the first time was when negan forced him to chop off carls hand and this time Carl doesn’t show up in his dreams anymore and now Rick chopped off that same hand he was about to chop off from Carl .

one thing i noticed when they get in the truck and rick says its a stick shift, meaning he couldnt drive it. but in the main show he drives a stickshift jeep while chasing after saviors. not sure what episode but he is driving a clutch. just a little continuity error. In S7 E12, Rick talks to Michonne after they find the guns, telling her that she can lose him and that he can lose her. That she lead him to where he is, and who he is. She is the one that does not accept that she can lose him, and Rick in the current episode realizes that he can't lose her either. I think this episode was more a a revisit to that conversation than anything else.

This was the best episode so far out of the whole damn season, and every episode is already so damn good. This one though was so emotional and real. I could not look away for a single second. Danai wrote this episode and map props to her, mad props for both of their acting but especially Andrew. He blew it out of the water. I can't wait to see whats gonna happen next. Scott gimple said at the end he "wish he could have ended it right there with the car but this is the walking dead so" who knows.

i like u didnt skip talking about that moment where he looks like he is "comming" xD .. ill admit episode 1 and this episode got me in a excistential crisis .. and both of them made my head hurt out of the dopaming and got me in a emotional state for the next 4 or 5 hours.. this is the first time a TV show has done this to me really.. this scenes here remind me alot of comic book version of Rick and his relationship there and its dynamic.. I love this show...

8:57 We've yet to see a reason for people to be 'freed' from the CRP (CRM is different). Everytime we see it in the show, it sets an idyllic picture of the place. Yes, they can't leave, but how many would really want to?
