Nice looking downtown but the complete and utter lack of foot traffic in Dallas and Houston, despite being huge metros, never ceases to amaze me! You can go to Chicago when it’s 5 degrees and there are more honeys walking around!

I think street parking is free downtown on the weekends. Also there are several parking garages. Best hotel would be Marriot Marquis near the convention center. The train will take you through downtown and also to the Texas Medical Center and NRG Stadium

What's very disheartening about this is the lack of foot traffic. The weather is lovely and it's Sunday evening in the 4th largest city in the county. When the foot traffic is comparable to that of a village, you know something is wrong.

@@spdaprince no whtz terrible is your level of education && the fact tht people like you fail to realize we have an underground tunnel w/ Ac && not only tht but unlike Chicago and nyc && all the rest of them basic a** cities your probably use to the action in Houston isnt based dwn-twn it’s all over the city And if your broke carless && relying on a subway to take you everywhere like in nyc And Chicago &&you dnt have any friends or someone tht knows the city to take you to all the hotspots then yeah In those cases your experience can be pretty boring && depressing but only one to blame is yourself tht has nothing to do wit my city🤷🏻🥱

The George R brown convention center is also a very nice place four seasons hotel is before you arrive to George R brown convention center I'm Red by the way have you checked out the main food store they have some amazing food tell them Red sent cha I was the owners favorite guy I'm in Louisiana at the moment working

You’ll find more people Midtown, The Heights, and Uptown. Downtown is busy on the weekdays and you’ll find all the people in the underground tunnels

@@spdaprince it’s true that houston isn’t a tourist city. When people come here it’s usually for business. Austin and San Antonio are the tourist cities in our state

@@chrisharper530 every city has a business center. But warm weather and a lot of square mileage should make it more appealing. Not even their own residents wanna go outside. No one jogging or even having a talk. I think Mexican culture is at fault. Culturally it’s boring with boring music. That’s what dominates in that city culture wise and no one goes out to explore it. Tons of taco places with the same food
