That stretch of Edgware road from Church Street Market to Marble Arch looks more like a New York Avenue than a typical Victorian/Edwardian London street

Edgware Road in London is known for its Arab residents and Arab migrants began to come to the area in the 19th century. The strong Arab influence is why the area is known as 'Little Cairo' and 'Little Beirut.
