Walked those streets many times since joining Bristol Police in 1965...of course there were no scooters then, or bus lanes, pr pedestrian precincts, or tables and chairs on the footpath, or people begging, or photographers with video cams ! Love the tour

waste of money on police abusing their powers on public when there's shoplifting and people being killed in the uk at moment and maybe in 2020 years ago 😒

20:41 is very near where I live. It's a lovely area to live but unfortunately at the moment there is a big problem with phone theives riding e-bikes on the pavement and snatching phones from people who are using them. If anyone wants to walk around here, keep your phone safe, avoid using it while walking around except in an emergency.

Oh that's sad to hear. When I lived in this area few years ago, it was very quiet and safe.

why is this country so heavily guarded.????? I don't think it's normal to see security everywhere. I think this country is hiding more than we know. And it won't stop there, I think it's a beautiful route. This country hides something.???????

Where Jones Bootmakers stands at the corner of Peascod St and Goswell hill, Used to be the Star and Garter pub. At one time a pub where famous Boxers used to train in an upstairs gym. The gym later became home to the Ricky Tick blues club . The Rolling stones, the Yardbirds {later Led Zeppelin}The Animals, the Who all played there back in the 1960s

If London were to have a third city, many people say it should be Croydon, but I actually think Southwark has a stronger claim. Southwark is the oldest part of South London, with parts immediately adjacent to the Thames having once been governed by the City of London Corporation. It also has an Anglican cathedral, which is the cathedral for the diocese that encompasses Lambeth Palace (the London residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury).

😃 “ FANTASTIC!…. This upscale area includes all of the remarkable features that one expects of the great city of London including Historic Architecture, Luxury Retail, Etc. Yet, It possesses a broader spectrum of the aforementioned with definitely more high speed and noisy traffic ‘ than glamorous Bond Street. ”
