Hi UWE, your legs have been busy the last few days. Enjoyed the sunny walk along the Borough market, the high road and on to the Elephant and Castle Underground Stn. I wonder why the area is named Elephant and Castle. Thank you for showing an unseen part of London.

William Booth of the Salvation Army, started the first soup kitchen just across the road from the Elephant and Castle pub. As a small boy my dad could remember it starting. He lived around the corner opposite the school. Just a little bit of history.

Yeah dont be fooled, Borough Market is normally as busy and rammed as it would be at a Michael Jackson concert which isnt the most enjoyable experience when you want to take your time and look about the place so this video does Borough justice in its very quiet state. Somehow you managed to catch Elephant & Castle looking half decent...Tourists....Its a s**thole really and theres absolutely no reason to head that far down beyond Borough (your not missing anything!)
