Fortunately, as we could see, tourism is increasing. Some day, it'll be our turn to visit that beauty!!🙏🙏We hope that day comes soon!! We think the same as you, we'll never get tired of enjoying those different colours from the sea and shots at the end of your video. We'll be waiting for more ones!! Take care of yourself! Happy you liked it my friends :-) The area at the end became world famous for being an excellent place to learn to windsurf + site of the Aruba Hi-Winds competition. Through the years Kitesurfing became more popular and that's why you see more kitesurfers now compared to windsurfers. However we have our own world champion windsurfer Sarah Quita Offringa who you can learn more about at her website: sarah-quita.com/ Keep staying safe and I'm sure we'd one day be able to welcome you to my island :-) Feliz semana!

I've receveid my first shot of vaccine..we are being deconfined slowly.. but surely...(in québec).. Step by step..we are getting closer to the end of this bad mojo! Again.. thank you for your time ! For sure when coming to the island..will buy merch from you..(if we can).. The french canadian

As always I did this one with great love for you all! I'm intrigued by Kitesurfing too but I suffer from some back conditions so I'm not sure it would be a wise thing to do. I do love watching them though, especially the professionals when they fly high! So good to hear that you got your first shot, yes slowly but surely we are coming out of it even though for some countries the help is too slow :-( So I am very grateful to have gotten mine. I hope to see you soon enjoying our beaches, cheers!

NY Giants! Leaving Friday for Aruba, can't wait. Any tips for bringing a drone to Aruba?
@LetsgowithHyro3 жыл бұрын
Go Giants :-) Happy to hear your trip is coming up so soon! I have been asked about the drone before. My best suggestion is... to not worry about it too much as a visitor. As locals we do have to declare it though. Remember there are very high winds here but most DJI drones do ok if that's what you have.

Coming to Aruba in a few weeks!! So beautiful! We love to walk and explore and eat!! Any tips or recommendations? Do you need reservations at local restaurants? We like things not so huge and fancy but of course delicious! Ty for this walking vid!
@LetsgowithHyro3 жыл бұрын
Hello Kate, sorry for the late reply here. Restaurant reservations are highly recommended (yes even before getting here if you can). There are many good restaurants along the Palm Beach strip. If you want to venture out there are several other good ones in Oranjestad, Yemanja comes to mind and is a favorite of mine. For more casual dinner check out The Westdeck. Zeerover in Savaneta is also a very popular place for some of the freshest fish and shrimp on the island. The Kitchen which I featured the other day is also super good (almost a hidden gem for tourists). I hope these help; some places can be cheap and others can get very expensive but often very good too!
@kateclark88523 жыл бұрын
Oh ty Hyro! So very kind and helpful! I will definitely check these out and make some reservations as needed .. sounds perfect and delicious too. Watched your 20$/ day recommendations video and that was super helpful too! Thanks for the reply and info! Take care ☀️

Hi Hyro, first of all thank you for the video's and efforts you make to provide almost every week a new video. Do you have plans to sometimes make those walking video's again like this without talking? Not that i don't like you talking, don't get me wrong 😊 but these kind of silence video's are very relaxing hearing the sound of the water in the background. So if it's possible to make some of those still for instance ones in 2 months or so would be nice.

All the beaches should be open for everyone.
@LetsgowithHyro3 жыл бұрын
Beaches in Aruba are open for everyone. In other words as locals we can and are allowed to be and swim in front of the hotels. If you as a visitor are not staying at a beach resort you are allowed to. Sometimes they even have deals with hotels that aren't (or so I have heard in the past). Umbrellas and chairs do remain property of the hotels or local businesses who rent them (always ask). So no worries, ENJOY our beaches!
@AmberWV23 жыл бұрын
Thanks Hyro! Heading there next month and I was wondering if Aruba is known for producing any particular types of items, such as pottery, jewelry, etc.? And if so, where is the best place to shop for locally made and produced items? Since you took us through a shopping area I thought you might know!
@LetsgowithHyro3 жыл бұрын
Great to hear that!! :-) I gave this a thought but I don't recall anything particular or better said an industry of such. What you can find is for example souvenirs made locally (for example paintings) which can be at one of these markets. Other things that come to mind are the Aruba Aloe products, Hot sauces produced locally (there are several), our local beers etc. I'm still thinking if I may have overlooked anything but I don't think so.
